It’s not really fall if you don’t go to a pumpkin farm, right? Yesterday I spent the day at a pumpkin farm with Brad, and his family. I wore my go-to fall outfit: skinny jeans, black booties, a white knit tunic, with a black and red plaid blanket scarf. In hindsight, the heeled booties weren’t my wisest decision, as it had rained recently, and my heels sunk deep into the mud with every step. It was a lot of fun, nonetheless! Don’t mind the dirt on my jeans in the photos…picking pumpkins gets a little messy!
One of the things I love about dressing in the fall is the endless outfit possibilities you can create from just a few pieces. You can throw on a cardigan over a camisole, a blanket scarf over a sweater, a moto jacket over a turtleneck, the list goes on and on. After a summer of tank tops and shorts, I always look forward to piling on layer after layer when it’s time to pull out my fall wardrobe. A fall outfit isn’t complete without at least a couple layers!
Below is a list I wrote of 16 clothing items you need for creating cute fall outfits! With basic pieces like these, you can continuously mix and match to create new looks! I’ve also included a few links of each type of item for you, in case you were in the need of a little retail therapy.
