Wearing: Articles of Society Sarah Skinny Jeans | Shoes | Cardigan | Top
Who doesn’t love a great pair of jeans, that didn’t break the bank?I know I do, so I decided to create a list of my favorite affordable jean brands! If you’re looking for a great pair of jeans, that don’t break the bank, check out these brands!
Articles of Society
When I bought my first pair of Articles of Society jeans during the last Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I couldn’t believe I didn’t know about them earlier. Not only are they affordable, but they fit great, they come in plenty of different washes, and they are SO comfortable. I wear my Sarah Skinnies constantly. One of my favorite things about these jeans is the length. I am 5’8, which is fairly tall, especially when buying jeans. Because of my height, I have to be extremely careful. I don’t want to end up with a pair of high waters (cringe). I haven’t had any problems with the lengths of these, and I love it! I recently bought a pair of Heather High Waist Jeans in black, and they are fantastic as well! They do run on the larger side, so I would recommend going down one size.
STS Blue
STS Blue jeans have recently become a favorite of mine. They have all of the latest trends, and classic styles as well. These feel amazing on! They are stretchy so I can wear them comfortably all day, BUT they don’t lose their shape like some jeans tend to do! I hate it when my jeans are falling off my body by the end of the day, because they stretched out while I was wearing them. These are seriously a game changer! My favorite Ellie Step Hem Skinnies are only $55! Their step hem makes them trendy, but they have a classic denim look, that will never go out of style! In the styles I have tried, they fit true to size!
American Eagle
When I was in middle, and high school, American Eagle was every girl’s go to denim brand. It’s been a while, but I still see these jeans everywhere! It was one of the only “cool” stores we had in my local mall growing up, so it was where I bought 99% of my clothing. Their jeans have a great fit, and plenty of stretch to them. This makes them super comfortable to wear all day long. They also come in a very wide array of styles, and washes. You may think they are just for teens, but these jeans can be worn at any age! American Eagle frequently has great deals on their jeans, like buy one get one 50% off, making them very affordable and practical. Plus, they have super awesome jeggings, because who doesn’t love jeggings?! In my experience, American Eagle jeans fit true to size.
Old Navy
Old Navy jeans are a classic, for both men and women! I got my boyfriend a pair of jeans from Old Navy about a year ago, and they have easily become his favorite pair. They are extremely comfortable, and hold their shape nicely. They also come in a wide variety of washes, and styles, making it easy to find something for everyone! Their Mid-Rise Rockstar Skinnies are one of their best sellers, and are under $35! For their low price, they definitely look high quality! Old Navy jeans usually fit true to size!
One word of advice when ordering jeans online: always read the reviews! If you can’t try them on in store, it’s hard to know if they are going to fit true to size, or run a little off. Fit can vary from brand to brand, and even between styles within the same brand. The reviews can usually give you a great sense of how they are going to fit! If you don’t see any helpful reviews, you can always check out the measurements of the jeans, or order from a company with an excellent return policy!
Happy Shopping!
Love this! I loved wearing and selling Articles of society and Sts blue during my first job at Nordstrom in BP. Feel in love with AE jeans because that was first job ever! And old navy jeans were my favorite in HS. So basically I’m in total agreement these jeans are all amazing!!!
Love the Old Navy! ❤ I feel stupid for not knowing about the others but thanks to your article I learned someting new! ❤
I love the way you look on the picture! ❤
Cool thanks! I’d never heard of Articles of Society. Zara is actually my favorite place to get jeans, they fit like a glove and are very affordable. I also love Joe’s and they’re not too badly priced at Nordstrom Rack
I have some pairs from articles of the society and American Eagle. They are good brands. Thanks for sharing
