Body-con dresses are fun to wear, because it’s so easy to style them in many different ways. They look great with a biker jacket, a soft cardigan, or a plaid shirt tied around your waist!
This is one of my favorite looks that I bought at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but it’s super easy to re-create with pieces you already have! All you need is a body-con, or form fitting dress, and a long sleeve plaid top! I paired my outfit with a new pair of Vince Camuto booties, also on the Anniversary Sale, but any booties will do!
Both my dress, and plaid top are on sale for only $31.90! The dress comes in this grey, as well as a pretty red color! The ruching down the sides of the dress is very flattering. It hugs your figure, but has quite a bit of stretch to it which makes it very comfortable. The plaid top comes in six different colors, and any of them would work for an outfit like this! They’re nice and soft, and have a slightly oversized fit. If you want the top to be a little more form fitting, size down. I like the oversized fit, so I went with my normal size. My booties are the biggest splurge of the outfit, they’re currently on sale for $99.90, and come in three different colors! They’re comfortable, and easy to walk in because of their block heel! Whoever made the block heel popular again…my clumsy self thanks you. Click on any of the items below to shop them!
