During the summer, who wants to put a lot of effort into looking cute? Especially when it’s scorching hot outside, ugh. No thank you. It was around 90 degrees here yesterday, and I spent the majority of it outside, and wandering through the cutest little boutiques and antique stores! Which did not have air conditioning, by the way. I put this little outfit together, and it was perfect for the days activities! It’s super easy to recreate on your own, from pieces you most likely already have!
For starters, you just need a basic t-shirt! I went with this white one ($17, wearing a small), but any will do! You can also switch it up with different colors, or even use a graphic tee! If you would like, you can tuck your t-shirt into the skirt, but I chose to be a little trendy, and tie it into a little side knot! You then pair your t-shirt with an a-line skirt! I chose to wear it with this pastel pink button up skirt (under $20). I love pastels, and white during the summer! They’re so pretty, and bring out your tan! The skirt can be whatever color you would like, but it should definitely be an a-line style!
To accessorize, I added this belt, and my fave RobbinEve earrings (they’re homemade, and SO gorgeous)! You can find similar mirrored sunglasses here! My mules have been restocked, shop them here! They’re very comfortable, and look great with just about everything. The biggest splurge in my outfit is my new Gucci belt, but any belt will do! Click here for a cute, affordable option! My Starbucks drink is a Venti Strawberry Acai Refresher with light ice, in case you were wondering. They’re amazing, and I am a complete addict. I can’t stop drinking these even when it’s below freezing outside! I always ask for light ice, so I get more refresher! If you don’t ask for light ice, your cup will most likely be 75% ice, ugh.
