Fall Mood Board
Recently I created a Fall mood board for the email subscribers of my boutique, Lilac&Lemon! I thought I would share it here as well! Here is just a little information about some of our favorite Fall styles!
Plaid
This Fall, we are all about the plaid (if you couldn’t already tell). Skirts, shackets, you name it! We’ve seen a big uptick in 90s trends, and plaid is one of our favorites. It’s easy to pair with many different colors, and even different patterns if you’re brave enough.
Shackets
Another trend we are absolutely loving is the shacket! We have already sold out of almost all of the shackets we had in stock! I’ve had to reorder so many times, it’s been amazing. Shackets come in all different colors and prints. Sometimes they’re long and chic, other times they’re faux suede with a fringe detail. There are so many different options, but they are all so stylish, and cute. Scrolling through our Fall mood board, you probably saw quite a few different shacket variations.
Earth Tones
We are loving earth tones this Fall! You may have noticed a theme of browns, neutrals, dark greens, and dark oranges on our Fall mood board. These earth tones are perfect for the darker, moodier Fall styles we’re seeing.
Oversized + Fitted Combination
The combination of an oversized piece with a more fitted piece is such a flattering style, and so aesthetically pleasing! We at Lilac&Lemon love pairing an oversized sweater with a tighter skirt, or wearing an oversized shacket with a tighter fitting top and jeans. The difference between the oversized fit and the tighter fit is really stylish, and looks great.
