Long time no post…again! I haven’t been the best blogger these past few month, I know. Right as I was planning on getting back into blogging, I did a complete 180. Now here I am – running my own online boutique! If you’re reading this, I’m assuming you’ve been following along on my social media, and have already seen a ton of posts about my new boutique. If you’re new here, I’ll just give you a quick run down!
I’ve been interested in clothes my entire life. When I was a kid, I would spend all of my allowance on clothing for me, or clothing for my bratz dolls. Back to school shopping was a dream come true for me. My dad would take my sister and I to Forever21, and give us each $100 to spend. Aly would find a couple pieces she really liked, and be ready to go. Then there was me. I had scour every single inch of that store, and get as many items as I could fit into my “budget”. I wanted all of the trendy pieces, I couldn’t pick just one!
For the past few years, blogging about fashion has been a great creative outlet for me. I’ve always wanted to turn it into something more, but I was never quite sure what that would be. Fast forward to today, and my boutique, Lilac&Lemon has become my new creative outlet.
I wanted to create a boutique that offered trendy styles, plus some classics. I also wanted everything to be affordable. Since I’ve always been the type of shopper who likes to get the best bang for her buck, I had to model my boutique the same way. We’ve been open for a month on the day that I’m writing this, and I’m excited to see what the future will hold.
