Spring Trends
Happy Thursday, everyone! I’m planning on doing a series of blog posts on some of the fun trends we are seeing this spring! Each post will feature a couple of trends, and how I am incorporating them into my wardrobe!
Today’s blog post is on two of my favorite spring trends: stripes, and mustard yellow. When I was a kid, I wanted everything that had stripes on it. I can still remember my favorite white and pink striped top from American Eagle. I probably wore that thing at least once a week, if not more. My mom used to tease me, because every other day I was wearing stripes. Well 13 year old Amy would be so excited right now, because stripes are taking over this spring!
Stripes
There are so many popular prints this spring, but stripes are the one I can’t seem to get away from. One of my favorite ways to wear stripes right now is in a jumpsuit! I’ve seen cute striped jumpsuits EVERYWHERE, and I want them all. I also love a striped tee. You can wear a striped tee with pretty much anything. It makes your outfit a little more fun than it would have been with a solid color tee! You could even try mixing patterns, and wear a striped tee with some floral pants (or a floral bag/cardigan if printed pants aren’t your style).

Mustard
Mustard isn’t usually at the top of my list of favorite colors to wear, but lately I’ve made an exception. There’s something about the deep yellow that I’ve been loving! I love mustard alone, but it looks so pretty when it’s combined with a floral print! I recently picked up a solid mustard dress that I adore! I haven’t photographed it yet, but it’ll be up on my instagram yet in the next few days!
