Hi everyone! I haven’t written two blog posts so close together in so long, but yesterday I went into downtown Seattle with my blogger friend Lashonya (Style in PNW), and took some new photos! I loved the way they turned out and was so excited to share them!
For starters, can we just talk about the fact that I was drinking an iced coffee, on the Seattle waterfront, without a coat, in the middle of January, and I WASN’T COLD! If every winter day was as beautiful and sunny as yesterday…I wouldn’t hate winter so much.
Denim details
On to the outfit! I just bought these jeans a few days ago, and have already worn them multiple times. I purchased them after realizing that I had been stuck in a skinny jean rut for some time. Before I bought these, I couldn’t tell you the last time I bought jeans that weren’t skinnies! I did a little online shopping, and before I knew it, these babies were on their way to my door! I love the look of these. Walking around downtown Seattle, I felt 100x more trendy and stylish.
I wasn’t sure how comfortable they would be, because the denim is a little thicker than what I usually go for. Thankfully, they are extremely comfortable, which is one of the reasons I have been gravitating towards them these past few days! They have just the right amount of stiffness, where they don’t get too loose after wearing them for hours, and you can move around freely. Definitely some of my favorite jeans!
Fit
These jeans are more fitted through the thighs, and looser around the calves/ankles. They have a button up front, instead of a zipper. I ordered my usual size (28), and they fit perfectly. They hit just above my ankles, which is pretty typical for me at 5’8. So far I’ve loved pairing them with booties!
Other Outfit Details
My chenille sweater is currently on sale, at the time I am posting this, it’s actually under $16 once you add it to your cart! SUCH a steal!! I love this pink/purple/white combo, and it’s perfect for Valentines Day! It also comes in a really pretty green/yellow/black/white combo as well!
