Lavender Love
Now, we all know just how much I am obsessed with all things lavender/lilac. My favorite color as a kid was purple, and that turned into a love for lavender as I grew up. I was so extremely excited when I saw lavender taking over everything in sight this spring, and when I pawed through the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog, I felt the same excitement! It looks like lavender is going to be sticking around!
My #1 Pick
The one item that caught my eye more than anything else in the entire catalog was this Badgeley Mishka coat pictured below. It comes in camel, grey, and LAVENDER. Obviously it’s the number one item on my wish list, and the first thing that will be going in my cart on July 12th. I am obsessed with the classic style of this wrap coat, and the length is just perfect. It does come in petite sizes as well at regular. During the sale it will be priced at $229.90, down from $349! That is a difference of $119! If you’re looking for a coat that can be worn frequently, but is also a bit of a statement piece this lavender wrap coat was made for you. If you love the style of the coat but can’t imagine yourself wearing lavender 24/7 (it’s ok, I understand), the grey and camel shades are both beautiful as well!
From what I can see in the calendar, the shades of lavender that will be popular this Fall are a muted, greyish lavender, and a slightly darker true lavender. The greyish lavender is really beautiful, and fresh looking. They are both a bit different than the bright, pinkish lavender that was popular in Spring.
