This is part two of my spring trends posts! To read part one, click here!
There are so many fun trends this spring. Interesting patterns and colors, fun accessories. I love spring fashion because it’s such a nice breath or fresh air after dark winter colors, and heavy black coats. I don’t know about you, but leaving my house without a jacket for the first time in months is probably one of my top 10 favorite things.
Polka Dots
Polka dots are one of the most popular trends I’ve seen so far. They’re all over dresses, pants, skirts, you name it. Polka dots are traditionally thought of as fun and youthful, but they can also look professional, and mature. A tailored pair of black trousers with a small polka dot print would look so chic with a blouse, and a blazer.

Pastels
One of my favorite things about Spring is getting to wear soft, pretty colors again. Most of my fall/winter wardrobe consists of dark colors. I don’t mind this at first, but after wearing black and olive green every day for four months or so, I’m desperate for some color. I love the softness of pastels, so I was so excited to see them splashed all over the runway, and into the department stores. The pastel trend for spring is also one of the easiest to participate in, because chances are you already own a few pastel items of clothing! If not, they aren’t hard to find!
