The sale starts for Beauty Insiders, and VIB’s today, but Rouge level shoppers got to shop a little early. I’ve been at rouge level for a few years now (am I ashamed, or proud? I’m honestly not sure), and I love to take advantage of a Sephora sale! I did a little order on a few products I either run out of quickly, or just wanted to have a backup of. Here is a little breakdown of the products I purchased:
amika Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner
I’ve written a whole blog post about this purple shampoo and conditioner set. It’s my absolute favorite for keeping my blonde hair toned while I am in between salon appointments! It’s healthy for your hair, and gets rid of brassy tones right away. To read my full review on these, click here!
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer: Matte Finish
I’ve been using this primer for a while now, and I am really impressed with it. It comes in 10 different finishes, and I have tried two of them. I first used the redness correcting finish, but after receiving a sample of the Matte Finish I had to switch. As the day goes on, I tend to get oily in my t-zone. This primer really keeps my makeup intact, and the oiliness to a minimum.
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation
This foundation is a little on the pricier side, so I had to make sure I stocked up on it during this sale! It’s definitely worth every penny, because I have yet to find anything that comes close to it. It’s long lasting, has a matte finish, and comes in 40 shades!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz & Clear Brow Gel
I’m obsessed with Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products (I’m sure I’m not the only one), so I had to stock up on my two most used! I love the brow wiz, because the tiny tip makes it easy to create small, hair like lines. You don’t have to sharpen it like a pencil, which I absolutely hate doing, and the formula is creamy and long lasting. The clear brow gel works exactly as it’s name suggests. I apply it when I am done filling in my brows to hold them in place all day long. The formula is really great. I’ve tried brow gels that make your eyebrows sticky, or super crunchy, but not this one. There is no sticky mess, and no crunchiness to be found!
The Original BeautyBlender
My beauty blender is the only thing I want blending in my foundation, and concealer. I don’t know what it is about this little pink sponge, but I’m hooked. The texture of the sponge leaves your makeup looking flawless. It’s shape makes blending anywhere extremely easy. I use the larger end of the sponge for my foundation, and the smaller tip for my under-eye concealer. This is a must have!
Clinique Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser
This is the only thing I purchased that I haven’t actually used before. I am in need of a new facial cleanser, and I love Clinique skincare, so I thought I would try this one out! I have pretty sensitive skin, and after washing my face it tends to get very red. The redness doesn’t last very long, but I thought I would give this a try to see if it really can soothe my skin, and calm down the redness!
