Ok, we’ve been married for a little over three months now so it’s about time I get a blog post up with everything wedding related! Well, not quite everything yet. So I don’t overwhelm myself (and you for that matter), I’m going to be splitting these posts up. This first post is all things venue!
Due to the state of the pandemic, we chose to play it safe and have a very small, intimate wedding. We had a total of 25 guests, including our immediate family members and a small bridal party. Even though we wish we could have had all of our family and friends with us, we made the most of our day, and loved every second of it! Let’s get right into the details now, shall we?
The Details
Our venue is called Starlight Meadows, in Mill Creek Washington. Starlight Meadows is new on the wedding venue scene. We found them by chance, my mom and grandma came over to visit me, and just so happened to stay in their airbnb! My mom got to talking to Connie, the owner of the property, and things just fell into place! We knew we wanted a venue that could double as a place for our out of town guests to stay, for extra covid safety, and Starlight Meadows was perfect for this! Lucky for us, we were able to rent out their spacious Cottage, which has four bedrooms and sleeps 11! We also used this space for just about everything over the course of the weekend. My bridal shower was here, our rehearsal + rehearsal dinner of course, and then getting ready all day before the wedding ceremony! The guys had their getting ready space downstairs, and the girls used the rooms on the main level.
Connie was so extremely helpful as we planned every last detail. She went out of her way to help make our day wonderful, and we really can’t thank her enough for it! Since we first found Starlight Meadows, we felt as though it was meant to be, and this feeling continued on as we worked with Connie up through our wedding day. If you are looking for a Snohomish County Wedding Venue, or the perfect location for a micro wedding, or boutique wedding, I can’t recommend Starlight Meadows enough!
