Happy Thursday, friends! A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of doing a photoshoot with Maleah Metz, of Maleah Metz Photography! She shot some gorgeous photos for Lilac&Lemon (my online boutique, check us out here), so I figured they deserved their own blog post.
Our photoshoot location was Carkeek Park, in Seattle! This beach was perfect for the photoshoot. We went during the week when crowds were nonexistent, and don’t even get me started on the lighting! How we lucked out with a perfect, overcast but still bright sky just amazes me!
Maleah herself is such a kind, and warm person! My models and I all loved working with her. Since this photoshoot, we’ve done one more, and have two more coming up! If that doesn’t tell you how much we loved working with her, I don’t know what will!
Now I want to rave a little about Maleah’s editing of the photos for a minute. Our instagram feed is very light, and her editing matched that perfectly! She was able to make the clothing pop, without altering their colors (very important when you’re selling a product!), which I love!
